The Upick Garden

All members, whether they pick up at the farm or have a delivered share, are welcome to visit the U-pick garden  during Open Farm Hours: Tuesdays and Fridays from 8 am - 8 pm, Wednesdays and Saturdays from 8 am -noon, in the harvest season, June - October. Weekly allotted picking amounts are listed on a whiteboard outside the barn, and may be included in the weekly harvest update email. 

For many members and member children, visiting the U-pick garden is the highlight of the CSA season. Picking beautiful bright flowers, watching butterflies and bees, roaming the garden paths and sampling cherry tomatoes or fresh snap beans, enjoying the peace and tranquility of the farm; these simple pleasures are found in the garden. And this is where children begin to understand where their food comes from, and to enjoy the fresh vegetables and fruits of each season.
