SAVORY SCALLION DROP BISCUITS


2 c. flour (up to ½ cup can be whole wheat)

2 tsp. baking powder

½ tsp. salt

2 tbsp. melted butter or veg. oil

1 ¼ c. plain or Greek yogurt

½ c. minced scallions

1 tbsp. chopped fresh dill

¼ tsp. ground black pepper


Preheat oven to 400.

Combine flours, baking powder, salt, and stir well. In a separate bowl, combine yogurt, butter/oil, scallions, dill, and pepper. Blend the yogurt mixture into the flour mixture quickly and thoroughly to form a soft dough.

Drop by spoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes. Serve warm.
